Recipe: Red Rice

Here's a quick recipe for rice:

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup rice, any kind except quick cooking
2 1/2 cups cold water
1 tsp salt
2 tsp garlic powder
3/4 cup tomato sauce

Directions:
Heat oil in skillet, medium heat. Add rice and toast until lightly browned. Add rest of ingredients. Bring to a boil. Cover, turn down heat to low, and simmer until rice is tender.

GLUTEN-FREE, LACTOSE-FREE, HEART-HEALTHY
