When making this, start with uncooked brown rice. Grind in blender or food processor until rice is a very fine powder. Do a little at a time to make sure there are no big bits that could choke your precious one.
2 ounces of your homemade brown rice powder
8 ounces of water
a little breastmilk or liquid formula
Directions:
Boil water. Add rice powder. Stir constantly (wire whisk or fork) for about 10 minutes. Take off heat, and once cooled to just warm, add the breastmilk or formula to make the consistency that is good for your baby. You could also add pureed fruit or vegetables to this.
