Great review with details about what was lacking or great, in each.

Two books along this line that I've really enjoyed are Malevil (out of print, check used book stores and the library, if they have old stuff they *may* have this) and Alas, Babylon. Haven't read Patriots yet but would like to...might pick up the new edition coming out this year.
