Recipe: Tuna Casserole

An easy tuna casserole is almost required in any stored-food cookbook! This one has only a few ingredients, and is very easy, using only one pot!

2 cans water packed chunk-lite tuna
2 cups egg noodles (or whatever noodles you have)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can water

In a medium-to-large saucepan, cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain the pasta and return to the saucepan. Drain the tuna and add to noodles. Add the soup, and the can of water. Combine. Heat on medium until bubbly.

Variation: can add dried vegetables (with a little extra water), can of sliced mushrooms, water chestnuts, or whatever you prefer. We like it with peanuts and topped with crushed potato chips.
