Inventory Check - Toilet Paper

I can't imagine running out of toilet paper, but at some point, it may happen. What then?

First, we're big-time stocking up on toilet paper. We get some almost every time we shop.

Second, we've thought about what to do instead of toilet paper. We could use washable rags. Or install a bidet (but what happens when there's no running water?). Or make our own paper but experimentation shows it's hard to make a "soft enough" paper.

What about you?

If people really want to get serious about saving money then they should add Bathroom Bidet Sprayers to all their bathrooms. Available at www.bathroomsprayers.com with these you won't even need toilet paper any more, just a towel to dry off! It's cheap and can be installed without a plumber; and runs off the same water line to your toilet. You'll probably pay for it in a few months of toilet paper savings. And after using one of these you won't know how you lasted all those years with wadded up handfuls of toilet paper. Now we're talking green and helping the environment without any pain.

If the stores no longer have TP, you may be facing water limits.

Just use squares of repeatedly crumpled and smoothed newspaper. Burn afterward and manually flush the toilet with a bucket of waste water.

Good idea, anonymous at Feb 19 11:28. Keep old newspapers and phone books.
